Club Service 5 July- Fireside Chat with Mr Sunil Gavaskar -2 Although Mr. Gavaskar was scheduled to leave at 1:00 p.m. for another engagement, he graciously stayed for nearly an additional hour, interacting informally with members. He shared fascinating dressing-room stories, cricketing memories, and humorous incidents, patiently posed for photographs, signed autographs, and made everyone feel personally connected. His humility, warmth, and generosity left an indelible impression on all present. Adding to the excitement, Mr. Gavaskar autographed cricket bats, which will be auctioned at a later date in support of a worthy cause. The appreciation from members was unanimous. Community Service 1st July – Project Visit to SVRR On 1st July, we went visited Society for the Vocational Rehabilitation of the retarded (SVRR) at Tardeo. Our very own Shefali Mehta and the humble Nitinbhai took us around to see the various avenues in which the special individuals are being skilled for a life changing opportunity. 2 Prospective new members Gauri Merchant & Siddharth Amin joined us for the visit. They were really gratified to see the centre. Both sponsored a meal for these adults in an emotional moment.
